Terms of use
Purpose
Mataki is provided by Scalentric Limited as a decision-support and capacity-strengthening tool for immunization programme staff. It is intended to structure analysis and discussion, not to replace professional judgement, official guidelines, or established reporting systems.
Who may use it
Mataki is for people who work in, or support, immunization programmes. An account works once its email is confirmed and an administrator for its area approves it. Administrators approve only people they know work in the place they chose, and are responsible for the accounts they approve.
Acceptable use
Use Mataki only with aggregate programme data and only within your own jurisdiction and mandate. Do not enter personal or identifying data. Do not rely on it as a system of record. Give tracking codes only to people who work in the place a code covers, and withdraw a code when its holder leaves that role. Do not try to reach accounts, data or parts of the service that are not yours, test its security without written permission from Scalentric Limited, overload it, or access it by automated means.
Your account
Keep your password, data passphrase and PIN to yourself, sign out on shared devices, and tell your administrator or info@scalentric.org at once if you think someone else has used your account. If your organization signs you in, its own rules for its accounts also apply.
Fees
Mataki is currently provided free of charge to its users. Nothing is charged, so nothing is refunded; the refund policy explains what applies if this changes. An institution may agree separate terms with Scalentric Limited in writing.
Availability
Scalentric Limited aims to keep Mataki available but does not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. It may be paused for maintenance, updates or security reasons. Your assessments stay on your device and keep working offline for up to 7 days at a time.
Suspension and deletion
An administrator may disable an account, and the super administrator may delete one, for example when its holder leaves the role or misuses the service. A deleted account can be restored for 60 days and is then erased. You can delete your own account at any time in Account settings.
Ownership
Scalentric Limited owns the Mataki software, its design and its content, and grants you a personal, non-exclusive right to use it under these terms. You and your institution own the data you enter. The frameworks Mataki draws on belong to their authors and are credited in the disclaimer.
No warranty
The tool is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Its analyses are generated by transparent rules and may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for verifying figures against source records before acting.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Scalentric Limited accepts no liability for decisions taken, or outcomes arising, from use of the tool. Decisions and their consequences remain yours and your institution’s.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
Changes
These terms and the tool itself may change. When the terms change, the version number changes and Mataki asks you to accept them again before you continue.

Clinical & decision-support disclaimer
Not medical advice
Mataki does not provide clinical, diagnostic, or treatment advice for any individual. It operates at the level of programmes and populations, not patients. Nothing in it should be used to make a decision about the care of any individual person.
Decision support, not decisions
The priority ranking (IPI), root-cause analysis, and recommendations are structured suggestions produced by transparent rules from the data you enter. They are designed to support and structure human judgement, not to replace it. They can be wrong, especially where data is incomplete or the denominator is uncertain.
Verify before acting
Always weigh the alternative explanations the tool surfaces, verify figures against source records, and apply local knowledge before committing resources. The confidence indicators reflect breadth of evidence and data quality, not certainty.
Framework attribution
Mataki draws on published implementation-science frameworks: CFIR 2.0 (Damschroder et al., 2022), the ERIC strategy compilation (Powell/Waltz et al.), the CFIR-ERIC implementation strategy matching tool (CFIR Research Team, Center for Clinical Management Research; https://cfirguide.org/choosing-strategies/), which our strategy matching adapts, and MCDA good practice (OECD/JRC 2008; ISPOR 2016). It is an independent tool and is not endorsed by those authors or by any ministry, agency, or funder.
